Service Centre

PPD has a fully equipped workshop for the overhaul and repair of any brand of PD Blower, in sizes upto 20" gears.
Our in-house machining capabilities ensure that we are able to deliver a quick turn-around on all repair services.
Your blower will first be assessed by a full strip down, enabling a full and detailed assessment of the true repair cost, followed by a quotation for the rebuild of your blower, we will indicate the expected lead-time on the job. Repaired blowers are able to be test run prior to return shipment.

Blower Test Facility - Capability

• VSD starting of 415v - 50/60Hz motors from 3kw to 160kw (subject to limitations on the bigger motors)
• Measurement of electrical power consumption
• Measurement of Pressure, Vacuum, and Temperature
• Vibration measurement
• Volume airflow - by classical methods
• Noise measurement - restricted to indicative levels (not Free Field)
